from the item being checked/inspected.
CAUTION
Equipment operation is allowable with minor leakages
(Class I or II)

Of course, consideration must be
given to the fluid capacity in the item/system bein
checked/inspected.
When operating with Class I or II
leaks

continue to check fluid levels as required o
your PMCS.
Class III leaks should be reported t
your supervisor or unit maintenance.
Equipment is
not ready/available if any gasoline leak is present
whether Class I, II, or III (Reference AR 385-55)
