EXPLANATION OF COLUMNS - Continued
c. Column (3) - Description (Description (CAGE) and Part Number)
Indicates the national item name and, if required, a minimum description to identify and
locate the item. The last line for each item indicates the Commercial and Government
Entity (CAGE) Code (in parentheses) followed by the part number.
d. Column (4) - Unit of Measure (U/M)
Indicates the measure used in performing the actual operational/maintenance function.
This measure is expressed by a two-character alphabetical abbreviation (e.g., EA, IN,
PR).
e. Column (5) - Quantity Required (Qty Reqd)
Indicates the quantity of the item authorized to be used with/on the equipment.
