Thoroughly clean the area around the steering
Install the drive gear, lockwasher, and nut onto
the pump. Torque the nut 121 to 147 pounds-foot
(164 to 199 Nm).
Disconnect both hoses from the pump. Cap
the hoses and pump connections.
Place the pump and drive gear onto the
mounting pad. Ensure the steel spacer is between
the two gaskets. Secure the pump in place with the
