(1) Clean the fuel pump with an approved
cleaning solvent.
(2) Inspect the fuel pump for breaks, proper
operation and other damage.
(3) Replace a defective fuel pump.

a. Removal and Installation. Remove and install
throttle and choke control as shown in figure 44.
b. Cleaning and Inspection.
(1) Clean the throttle control with an approved
cleaning solvent.
(2) Inspect for breaks, kinks or other damage.
(3) Replace a defective throttle control.
