INTRODUCTION1.Scope.This RPSTL lists and authorizes spares and repairparts; special tools; special test, measurement, anddiagnostic equipment (TMDE); and other specialsupport equipment required for performance of Unit,Direct Support, and General Support Maintenance ofthe Crawler Mounted Crane-Shovel. It authorizes therequisitioning, issue, and disposition of spares, repairparts and special tools as indicated by the source,maintenance and recoverability (SMR) codes.2.General.In addition to Section I. A list of sparesand.repair parts authorized by this RPSTL for use inthe.performance of maintenance. The list alsoincludes.parts which must be removed for replacementof the.authorized parts. Parts lists are composed offunctional.groups in ascending alphanumeric sequence,with the.parts in each group listed in ascending figureand item.number sequence. Bulk materials are listed initem.name sequence. Repair kits are listed separatelyin their.own functional group within Section II. Repairparts for.reparable special tools are also listed in thesection. Items listed are shown on theassociated.illustration(s)/figure(s).b.Section III. Special Tools List. Cross-reference Indexes.
