Read the following points while swinging the pendulum through 90

Read from B to S and it should indicate open. Now, lock the
pendulum and it should show a leak or continuity
3. Lack of continuity and any leakage indicates either an open or a
ground in the transducer, and the complete unit should be replaced .
Visual inspection can be made of the assembly, but faults inside of
potentiometer can not be field repaired. The angle transducer is
shown in Figure 8-7.

Resistance Verification
By using a good ohmmeter resistance values of the windings can be
checked as follows:
1. Check resistance between 'A' and 'B'; should be 25K ohms + 5%.

2. Check resistance between 'A' and 'C' and move pendulum.
