Use a soft bar and mall against the rear of both
countershafts to move them as far forward as possible.
This will move the bearings to the rear on the shafts.
Remove the flat stock and puller screws. Move the rear
housing to. its original position against the intermediate
housing by turning in evenly the two remaining
capscrews. This will expose the two rear bearing snap
rings.
Attach a bearing puller to each snap ring and remove
both rear bearings from the countershafts.
