Remove the snap ring from the rear countershaft
bearing bore and install in the front bearing snap ring
groove.
Use a soft bar and mall to move the assembly to the
rear as far as possible. partially unseating the front
bearing from the shaft.
Move the countershaft forward and remove the front
bearing with a puller or pry bars.
