J. Loosen jam nut and back off thrust block
adjusting screw. Roll differential gear slightly to
allow thrust block to drop out.
2. Remove and Disassemble Shift Unit Housing
Assembly.
A. Remove the shift housing cap screws and lock
washers.
B. Remove the shift housing assemble and gasket.
C. To disassemble the shift housing assemble remove the shift lever attaching nut cotter key and nut. Tap body fit
bolt back far enough to remove lever from shift shaft slot. Remove lever cup and spring.
