Measure the inside diameter.
Replace the bushing if worn larger than 47.70 mm
[1.8780 inch].
Use an air compressor bushing mandrel, Part No. ST-
1143, to remove the bushing.
Use clean Lubriplate to lubricate the bushing bore in
the crankcase.
Use an air compressor bushing mandrel, Part No. ST-
1143, to install the new bushing.
Push in the new bushing until it is flush with the bore
surface. Oil holes in the bushing and crankcase must be
aligned.
Inspect the crankshaft for scratches and scoring.
Replace if damaged.
