(1) Clean the water pump assembly with an approved cleaning solvent. (2) Inspect the water pump assembly for breaks, proper operation, and other damage. Replace defective water pump. c. Installation. (1) Install the water pump as illustrated on figure 37. (2) Install the fan and fan belt (par. 100). (3) Install the generator belt (par. 71). (4) Install the fan guard (par. 99).
