462. General
The carrier engine crankshaft is a counterbalanced

forward end is located the crankshaft drive gear that
drives the camshaft gear. A flywheel is mounted to the
rear end of the crankshaft. Bearing caps support the

the crankshaft is to convert the thrust force from the
piston and connecting rod assemblies to torque power.
