3-63. Disassembly
a. Refer to figure 3-14. Set the injetor in an upright position in a suitable holding device and remove filter caps (1),
gaskets (2), springs (3) and filter (4). Discard filters (4) and gaskets (2).
b. Compress the plunger spring with the heel of the hand, and, at the same time raise the base of the spring with a
screwdriver until stop pin (5) can be removed. Allow the spring to rise gradually.
