2. Disassemble Gear Shift Housing Assembly.
secure the assembly upside down in a vise and remove
the tension spring by prying it up and over the spring
retainers, one coil at a time.
Remove the washer and lever from the housing.
Remove the housing from the vise and, if necessary,
remove the nut, washer, pivot pin, and O-Ring.
