Place the drive gear on the rear of the mainshaft,
meshing the marked tooth on each countershaft
between the marked teeth on the drive gear.
Install the retaining plate on the rear of the mainshaft
with the two capscrews. Tighten and wire the capscrews
securely.
9. Reassemble Tailshaft and Rear Bearing Assembly.
If previously removed, install the snap ring in the low
speed gear.
