OIL PAN

Remove the bolt and washer assemblies.
Then
remove the oil pan and gasket.

Clean all of the old gasket material from the cylinder
block and the oil pan. Then clean the oil pan with
fuel oil and dry it with compressed air.

Check a stamped oil pan for dents or breaks in the
metal which may necessitate repair or replacement.
Check for misaligned flanges or raised surfaces
surrounding the bolt holes by placing the pan on a
surface plate or other large flat surface.

When installing the oil pan, use a new gasket and,
