sure the ring is in full position in the retainer.

Position the piston return spring spacer over
the clutch shaft.

Install one steel disc.

Install the Belleville washers. First washer with
large diameter toward spacer. Alternate seven (7)
washers.

Install one friction disc. Alternate steel and fric-
tion discs until the proper amount of discs are in-
stalled. First disc next to the piston is steel, last disc
