INSPECT
Conduct a technical/rigger-type Inspection in accordance with the instructions contained in paragraph 2.9.
SERVICE
CLEANING
a
Remove burrs, rough spots, rust, or corrosion from the quick release base plate (1), body (2), or operating
button (3) by lightly filing with a metal file.

Place the quick release assembly in a container filled with tetrachloroethylene and insure the solvent covers
the entire assembly Allow to thoroughly soak as prescribed in paragraph 2.7.
c
Rinse and brush the assembly with a soft wire brush until the parts are thoroughly cleaned
