(4) Install in reverse order.
b. Cleaning, Inspection, and Repair.
(1) Clean all metal parts in an approved
cleaning solvent and dry thoroughly.
(2) Visually inspect automatic temperature
control for damage, defect, or damaged mounting
hardware.
(3) Repair by replacing damaged mounting
hardware. Replace a defective automatic temperature
control.

and remove applicable defroster, hose, or the manifold.
b. Cleaning, Inspection, and Repair.
(1) Clean all removed parts with a rag
dampened in an approved cleaning solvent and dry
thoroughly.
(2) Visually inspect all parts for cracks,
bends, collapsed hose, or defective mounting hardware.
(3) Repair by straightening bends, welding
cracks, or replacing defective components.
