The lower boom section isconnected by two boom footpins to the revolving frame.The upper boom section carries the boom point sheaveassembly. The boom is of weldedconstruction.167.Crane Booma.Removal.(1)Remove all reeving from the crane boom(TM 5-3810-207-10).(2)Remove the crane boom from therevolving frame (TM 5-3810-207-10).b.Disassembly.Disassemble the crane boom asinstructed on figure 91.c.Cleaning, Inspection, and Repair.(1)Clean all parts of the crane boom with anapproved cleaning solvent.(2)Inspect the crane boom for broken welds,bends, and other damage.
