With engine "off" check for open circuit In regulator coil circuit.
Remove all leads from terminal "C" (fig. 3) on the regulator.
At terminal "C" to "D" on regulator reading with ohmmeter
should be about 37 to 45 ohms. If not replace voltage
Remove leads from terminal "A" (fig. 3) on voltage regulator
chassis. Reading measure from terminal "A" to "B" should
be 40 ohms. If not replace regulator plug-in unit (para. 150).
