Install the snap ring in the groove in the rear counter-
shaft bearing bore. Drive both countershafts back until
the rear bearings seat against the snap rings.
7 Reassemble Auxiliary Drive Gear/Clutch Assembly.
If previously removed, install the snap ring on the drive
gear, large diameter facing out.
Place the small diameter of the drive gear inside the
clutch gear and mount the assembly in a vise so that the
two gears are forced together. For ease in installation of
the retaining pin, place the snap ring so that the open
section is underneath the retaining pin hole.
