Remove two cotter pins (Figure 5, Item 1) to disconnect two control cables (Figure 5, Items 2 and 5) from
transmission control valve (Figure 5, Item 6). Loosen two jam nuts (Figure 5, Item 4) on each cable and remove
cables from mounting bracket (Figure 5, Item 3). Discard cotter pins.
