INSTALLATION
NOTE
Filling lube oil pump before installing will aid in priming during engine startup.
1.
Lubricate lube oil pump (Figure 3, Item 2) with clean engine oil.
2.
Install lube oil pump (Figure 3, Item 2) to engine (Figure 3, Item 3).
3.
Install four capscrews (Figure 3, Item 1) to lube oil pump (Figure 3, Item 2). Tighten capscrews to
18 ft-lb (24 Nm).

FOLLOW-ON MAINTENANCE
1.
Install front gear cover (WP 0032).
2.
Run engine and check for correct engine operation (TM 5-3810-305-10).
3.
Place boom in resting position (TM 5-3810-305-10).
