Install lifting bracket (Figure 4, Item 1), new gasket (Figure 4, Item 4), thermostat housing (Figure 4, Item 2),
and three capscrews (Figure 4, Item 3). Tighten three capscrews to 18 ft-lb (24 Nm).

FOLLOW-ON MAINTENANCE
1.
Install upper radiator hose (WP 0054).
2.
Install alternator (WP 0062).
3.
Install drive belt (WP 0059).
4.
Connect battery cables (WP 0076).
5.
Fill radiator with coolant (TM 5-3810-305-10).
6.
Run engine until normal operating temperature is reached (TM 5-3810-305-10).
7.
Inspect for leaks.
8.
Place boom in resting position (TM 5-3810-305-10).
9.
Shut down engine (TM 5-3810-305-10).
