Solvent cleaning compound MIL-PRF-680 Type III is an environmentally compliant and low
toxicity material. However, it may be irritating to the eyes and skin. Use protective gloves and

Removing and Installing Sticky Backed Marking Decals
When replacing sticky backed marking decals, scrape off all remnants of old decal. Clean all dust and dirt from
the mounting surface. Remove any preservative compounds with cleaning solvent. When the mounting surface
is clean and dry, apply decal by pressing firmly in place.

Removing and Installing Riveted Marking Decals
When replacing riveted marking decals, drill out and discard rivets. Clean all dust and dirt from the mounting
surface. When the mounting surface is clean and dry, hold marking decals while installing rivets.

Place boom in resting position (TM 5-3810-305-10).
