Watch bubblelevel and alignment of load line with boom.CAUTIONThe engine must be shut down beforeattempting to engage the hydraulicpump drive.CAUTIONAlways disengage the hydraulic pumpfor extended traveling, cold weatherstarting, or engine checks.CAUTIONDo not force the pump disconnect leverin an attempt to engage the pump drive.9.Check that pump disconnect lever is in theappropriate position for the function beingperformed.a.The hydraulic pumps and disconnect aremounted on the torque converter driver pads andoperate anytime the engine is running and thepump disconnect lever is in the ENGAGEposition.b.The manual pump disconnect is actuated by aknobbed lever located on the deck between theturntable and front of the engine hood. It has twopositions marked ENGAGE and DISENGAGE.c.The disconnect can be used to prevent the threesection hydraulic pump from being driven whenthe engine is running.NOTEIt may be necessary to bump the starterto engage the pump drive.PROGRAMING LMI FOR NORMAL OPERATION1.Position Reeving Selector switch to correct numberfor parts of line being used.2.Position ON OUTRIGGERS/ON RUBBER switch toON OUTRIGGERS.3.Position Data Selector switch to display desiredinformation on Data Display.NORMAL CRANING OPERATIONWARNINGBe sure everyone is clear of the craneand work area before making any lifts.1.Keep everyone away from suspended loads.
