TM 5-3810-306-10c.Place a miracle pointer, carpenter level or similardevice on a machined surface such as theturntable bearing or bearing mounting surfaces.d.Using outriggers, level crane as indicated on thedevice used in step c.e.Using mounting screws, adjust bubble levelindicator to show level.STOWING OUTRIGGERS1.Set R (rear) STABILIZER toggle switches andposition toggle switch to RETRACT until rearstabilizers retract several inches.2.Set F (front) STABILIZER toggle switches andposition toggle switch to RETRACT until frontstabilizers retract several inches.3.Repeat steps 1 and 2 until crane is resting on all 4wheels and stabilizer floats are several inches offground.WARNINGKeep feet and hands clear of the floatswhen unlocking them from the stabilizer.Failure to follow this procedure couldresult in personnel injury.4.Release locking levers and allow floats to drop toground.5.Continue to retract stabilizers until they are fullyretracted.6.Set appropriate EXTENSION toggle switch andposition toggle switch to RETRACT each outrigger.NOTEMore than one outrigger can beretracted at a time.7.Stow outrigger floats on pins provided.
