Remove the clutch piston.

Install the clutch piston in the clutch drum. Use
caution as not to damage the seal rings.
Assembly.
3rd AND 4th CLUTCH.

Position the piston return spring and spring re-
tainer on the clutch shaft.
NOTE
Ring must be sized before installing in
clutch drum. Sizing is best accomplished
by rotating piston while holding a round
object against the new seal ring as
shown. Rotate piston until seal ring is
flush with outer diameter of piston.
1. Install the clutch piston outer and inner seal
rings.
4.
Compress the return spring and install the re-
tainer ring.
