CAUTION
Hold the needle valve by the stem only. Skin
oils will corrode the finely lapped surfaces.
CAUTION
The needle valve and nozzle tip are matched
for fit. They must not be intermixed.
Remove the nozzle holder from the vise; then remove
the pressure spindle, pressure spring and shims.
Injector - Clean and Inspect
Edge-type filters may be cleaned by applying
compressed air to the fuel passage from the nozzle
side of the nozzle holder. Edge-type filters are not
removable for service.
Rinse new nozzle bodies and needle valves in solvent
to thoroughly flush and completely remove all
protective coating material.
