The 24-volt electrical system furnishes electrical power for the windshield wiper. The windshield wiper motor is mounted in the operator's cab to the left-front of the operator and is controlled from the operator's control panel. 198. Windshield Wiper a. Removal. Remove the windshield wiper as instructed on figure 121. b. Cleaning, Inspection, and Repair. (1) Clean all parts with an approved cleaning solvent and dry thoroughly. (2) Inspect the windshield wiper for breaks, bends, or other damage. Repair or replace damaged hardware. (3) Inspect the motor for proper operation. Replace a defective motor. c. Installation. Install the windshield wiper as illustrated on figure 121. 161
