General
The carrier engine accessory drive assembly is
externally mounted on the left side of the carrier engine
block. The accessory drive assembly is driven from the
carrier engine camshaft gear by a helical gear which
also drives the carrier engine oil pump assembly. The
distributor is mounted on top end of the accessory drive
shaft. The drive shaft for the governor drive cable is
also mounted on the accessory drive housing and is
gear-driven from the accessory drive shaft.
