3-5. Pulsation Damper

Remove mounting capscrews (2),
flatwashers (9) and lockwashers (4), and separate the
body (1) from plate (7).
(2) Remove the spring steel diaphragm (3),
nylon washer (10) and O-rings (5and 6); discard O-rings
and nylon washer.
c. Cleaning and inspection.
(1) Clean the body, plate and diaphragm in
solvent which is not harmful to aluminum.
(2) Check for corrosion, excessive wear, or
cracked plate or diaphragm.
