Upper Structure Assembly
a. Disconnect
(1) Position boom and machine as required
for method used.
(2) Release swing lock after blocking
machine to prevent swing.
(3) Remove front cover from swing and
propel gear case (fig. 4-2).
(a) Clean swing and propel gear case

(b) Take out capscrews along front edge
of cover and slide forward.
