c. Setting the Outriggers.
(1) Swing the crane so that the counterweight
is over the left side of the carrier, to relieve pressure on
the jackfloats on the right side of the carrier. Refer to
right side of the carrier until the jackfloats on the right
side are firmly supporting the machine.
