NOTE
If primary element is cleaned with
compressed air, element can be put
back
into
service
immediately;
however, if cleaned by washing,
element
must
be
dried
before
returning it to service.
NOTE
Primary
elements
are
partially
covered by a plastic sleeve with fins.
The covered portion can be cleaned
with water or air without removing
the sleeve. Use a stiff fiber (not wire)
brush to remove oil and grease
deposits from the sleeve and fins.
Never remove the sleeve and fins
from the element.
