Loosen vent screw (1) on fuel injection pump.b. Place fuel control in run position.c. Crank engine and allow air to bleed from pump.d. Close vent screw (1).e. Loosen each high pressure line one at a timestarting at number 1 injector. Crank engine toallow air to bleed from lines then tighten lines.f.Continue until engine runs smoothly.END OF TASK5-12
