INSTALLATION:
1.
INSTALL STEER CYLINDER (1).
a.
Position steer cylinder (1) on axle and install
pivot shafts (7), ensuring cotter pin holes are on
top.
b.
Secure each pivot shaft (7) with cotter pins (3),
flatwashers (4), new lockwashers (3) and
capscrews (2 and 6).
c.
Remove tags and connect two hydraulic lines to
steer cylinder (1).
2.
CONNECT GROUND CABLE AT SHUNT. (REFER
TO PAGE 8-109.)
3.
START ENGINE AND CHECK FRONT AND REAR
STEERING OPERATION. (REFER TO TM 5-3810-
306-10.)
