guarding

personal

equipment
(goggles/shield, gloves, etc.).

CLEAN ALL PARTS WITH P-D-680. DRY PARTS
WITH LOW PRESSURE AIR.
3.
INSPECT ALL PARTS FOR DAMAGE. REPLACE
PARTS AS REQUIRED.
REASSEMBLY:
1.
REASSEMBLE PINTLE HOOK (1).
a.
Install latch (4) with spring (5) and secure with
pin (8).
b.
Install arm (12) on pintle hook (1).
c.
Install latch bolt (11), hex nut (6) and new cotter
pin (7).
d.
Install new chain (9) and drive screw (10) if
required.
2.
INSTALL PINTLE HOOK (REFER TO PAGE 14-2.)
3.
LUBRICATE PINTLE HOOK. (REFER TO LO 5-
3810-306-12.)
