Unclinch the lock nut on the forward high idler

Remove the idler gear and bearing assembly.

thrust plate.
Remove the idler gear and outer taper bearing.

79. Using a soft hammer, tap the idler shaft from
the housing to remove the inner taper bearing.

Remove the inner taper bearing.
85. Remove the charging pump gear support screws

Remove the inner bearing thrust plate.
and lockwashers.
82. Remove the idler shaft. Use care as not to lose
the shaft lockball.
Remove the pump gear, bearing, and support.

Remove the pump idler gear retainer ring.
