On engines equipped with wastegated turbochargers,
remove the wastegate intake air hose.

Remove
the
turbocharger
mounting
nuts,
turbocharger and gasket.

Inspection of the turbocharger is described in

Exhaust Manifold - Removal (0-16)

Remove the capscrews, exhaust manifold and
gaskets.

CAUTION
Hold the fuel pump delivery valves securely
when loosening the high pressure lines on
the rotary pumps.
Remove the high pressure line fittings from the
injection pump.
