REPAIR OF CARRIER ENGINE

14-1. General
(4) Starting motor
The carrier engine is a four-cycle, V-8, Cummins Diesel

Refer to chapter 12 and remove the carrier engine.

b. Parts removed from the engine should be stored

14-4. Removal and Disassembly
a. Refer to figure 14-1. Remove hose clamp
(6) and flat washers (7). Lift connection elbow (8) from
(1) and air hose (2). Remove screws (3), (4) and
the manifold. Remove pipe plug (9).
