TM 5-3810-306-102.To raise hoist cable pull MAIN hoist or AUX hoistcontrol lever back, toward you, and hold until hook orload is raised to desired height.PARKING AND STOWINGWARNINGNever park the crane near holes or onrocky or extremely soft surfaces. Thismay cause the crane to overturn,resulting in injury to personnel anddamage to the equipment.After crane is parked, complete following:1.If crane has been working on job site, retract andlower boom over-the-front (travel position).2.Set parking brake.WARNINGBefore leaving the crane, ensure swinglock and swing brake are both engaged.3.Chock the wheels if parking crane overnight orlonger.CAB HEATERSTARTING1.Switch AIR TEMP toggle switch to HI.2.Pull HEATER ON/OFF switch to ON to begin theautomatic starting sequence.3.Set AIR TEMP toggle switch to HI (raisestemperature) or LO (lowers temperature).STOPPING1.Depress HEATER ON/OFF switch.NOTEThe heater may not shut offimmediately, since heater has a purgecycle. The blower will run until all fuel inthe burner is consumed and heatexchanger cools sufficiently to open theflame switch. When this occurs, theblower motor will stop.2-51
