TM 5-3810-306-20f.Remove fuel filter (12) and pipe nipple (13) fromfuel tank. Retain pipe nipple (13) for installationon new fuel tank (1).INSTALLATION:1.INSTALL CAB HEATER FUEL TANK (1).a. Install fuel nipple (13) and fuel filter (12) on fueltank (1).b. Align mounting bracket holes with mountingstuds on frame and secure with nuts (8) and newlockwashers (9).c. Assemble fuel tank (1) with two straps (7) andposition on mounting brackets (10).d. Remove fuel plug on fuel supply line (5) andinstall to fuel hose and fuel filter (12). Securewith two hose clamps (3).e. Fill fuel tank (1) with fuel, open petcock andensure no leaks are present. Install fuel cap(11).2.CONNECT GROUND CABLE AT SHUNT. (REFERTO PAGE 8-109.) 3.
