Remove the carrier engine water pump,
fan pulley, and hydraulic steering pump as
instructed on figure 157.

Cleaning and Inspection.
(1)
Clean all parts with an approved cleaning
solvent.
(2)
Inspect the water pump, fan pulley, and
hydraulic steering pump for breaks, leaks,
cracks, and other damage. Replace
defective pumps and pulley as necessary.
c.
Installation.
(1)
Install the carrier engine water pump, fan
pulley, and hydraulic steering pump as
illustrated on figure 157.
(2)
Install the fan to the fan pulley (par. 255).
(3)
Install the carrier engine water tubes and
hoses to the water pump (par. 257).
(4)
Install the three fan belts and the
hydraulic steering pump belt (par. 254).
