Make sure the crankshaft has No. 1 cylinder at Top
Dead Center (TDC).
Rotate the engine until the timing pin engages.
Be sure to disengage the pin after locating TDC.

Remove the nut and washer from the fuel pump
shaft.
Two M8 x 1.25 Capscrews, 75 mm T-Bar, or Fuel
Pump Drive Gear Puller 3824469
Pull the pump gear from the drive shaft.
15 mm
Remove the four mounting nuts and injection pump.
