Remove nut, washer, and bolt connecting the initiator spread clamp and the parachute cable shackles to theeye of the firing head on the M5 cartridge-actuated release assembly (Figure 2-31).b. Remove bolt and disconnect opposite end of cable assembly from bracket on main body of the container.c. Pull end (end without stop washer) of cable assembly through holding damp on main body of container.d. Discard unserviceable cable assembly and replace with serviceable item from stock.2-60
