Front wheel, removal and installation.284.Front Wheel Bearing, Hub, and Druma.Removal.(1)Remove the front wheel (par. 283).(2)Remove the front wheel hub, drum, andbearings in the numerical sequence asinstructed on figure 175.b.Cleaning and Inspection.(1)Clean all parts with an approvedcleaning solvent.(2)Inspect the locknut, lockring, keywasher, and bearing adjusting nut fordamage. Replace as necessary.(3)Inspect the bearings and races fordamage and excessive wear (TM 9-214). Replace bearings as necessary.(4)Inspect all other parts for breaks,cracks, excessive wear, and otherdamage.
