(Refer to page 8-109.)REMOVAL:1.REMOVE HYDRAULIC TANK COVERS.NOTEIn areas which are difficult to access,speed nuts were used instead ofwashers and nuts.a. Remove twenty-seven screws (1), flatwashers(2), lockwashers (7) and nuts (8) securing topcover (5). Remove cover. Discardlockwashers (7).b. Support hydraulic tank cover (6) and remove sixscrews (1), flatwashers (2), lockwashers (7) andnuts (8) securing cover (6) to mounting brackets(10) and (11). Discard lockwashers (7).c. Remove twenty-two screws (1), flatwashers (2),lockwashers (7) and nuts (8) securing rear (3)and front covers (4). Discard lockwashers (7).d. Remove six screws (12), flatwashers (13),lockwashers (14) and nuts (15) securing (14)and nuts (15) securing mounting brackets (10and 11). Remove brackets. Discardlockwashers (14).INSTALLATION:1.INSTALL HYDRAULIC TANK COVERS.a. Position mounting brackets (10 and 11) andsecure with six screws (12), flatwashers (13),new lockwashers (14) and nuts (15).b. Position rear (3) and front covers (4), securingwith screws (1), flatwashers (2), newlockwashers (7) and nuts (8).c. Using suitable lifting device, position bottomholes in hydraulic tank cover (6) with holes inmounting brackets (10) and (11). Secure withscrews (1), flatwashers (2), new lockwashers (7)and nuts (8).d.
